Biography:
Mark McNemar, D.O., is fellowship-trained in the shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand and a board-certified hand/upper extremity and microvascular surgeon specializing in disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow including the treatment of carpal tunnel in the wrist and elbow as well as microsurgical repair of nerves and vessels. He specializes in all disorders from elbow to the fingertip. A native of Columbus, Kansas, Dr. McNemar graduated from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where he was inducted into the Sigma Sigma Phi Honor Society. He then moved to Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis and affiliated hospitals to complete his orthopedic surgery residency. Dr. McNemar concluded his training with a combined Hand/Upper Extremity and Microvascular Fellowship at the University of Texas at San Antonio/Hand Center of San Antonio. Dr. McNemar is the only fellowship-trained board-certified hand surgeon that is a member of the prestigious American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
