Spine Pain Management and Treatment
ORTHO FOUR STATES SPINE TEAM of Fellowship-Trained and Board-Certified Physicians and Surgeons Exclusively Focus on Spine Care, Surgery, and Back Pain Management.
Your neck, back, and spine aren’t only centrally located within you, they are at the center of your ability to feel good and enjoy life. The spine is a complex structure of bones, disks, muscles, joints, and nervous tissue designed to protect the spinal cord and nerves while still allowing motion.
Because problems with one or more of the spine’s many structures frequently causes various types of neck pain, back pain, numbness, weakness, and suffering, we recommend being evaluated by our team of highly-trained operative and non-operative spine specialists.
Ortho Four States offers the only upright weight-bearing MRI in the region. The G-scan Brio sitting-and-standing MRI is used in conjunction with our existing high-definition supine MRI, which is the largest MRI enclosure available, accommodating more than 500 pounds. Since laying down is a position most patients go to for relief from neck and back pain symptoms, the upright MRI is used to show compression of the spine and joints when standing. This weight bearing MRI can show debilitating pathologies often undetectable in the supine (laying on the back) position.
Serving Joplin, MO and the entire Four State Region, Orthopaedic Specialists of the Four States (Ortho Four States) Spine Team of fellowship-trained and board-certified physicians and surgeons exclusively focus on the spine.
