Paul W. Toma, D.O., board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in surgery of the upper extremity and knee, including arthroscopy and knee replacement. A 1979 graduate of Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Dr. Toma completed his internship in 1980 at Doctor’s Osteopathic Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania. He then completed a one-year general surgery residence at Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan, and his orthopedic surgery residency in 1984 at Metro Health Center in Erie, Pennsylvania.
Doctor Toma serves Joplin, MO, and the entire Four State area of Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma.
